Ringing is non-existent or severly limited at the moment, and as government advice changes we will adapt what is possible to do. At times you may hear a reduced number of bells ringing (not our usual 12 if social distancing prevents it), and at other times we may ring handbells instead, outside the church. We regret that at this stage we are still unable to accommodate any visitors.

We are the resident ringers at the Civic and Town church of St Mary-
le- in central Ipswich. Tower
There has been a ringing tradition here for over 300 years and certainly from 1896-1939 the St Mary-le-Tower society was one of the leading twelve-bell Companies in the land. Over 700 peals have been rung here, many of them for notable occasions.
